　　After serving two years on a military outpost in the middle of an ocean – four soldiers are waiting for a new crew to replace them. When the long-awaited boat finally appears, it’s empty with no relief on board. When trying to find out what happened to the boat and the missing crew, they realize they’ve lost all communications with home. Cut off from the rest of the world and no one coming to get them, Baines, Sullivan, Cassidy and Hendryx must fight with suspicions about each other and find a new way to get home. 田部井淳子以“女性专属的海外探险”为口号成立了女子攀登俱乐部，1975年作为珠穆朗玛峰日本女子登山队副队长兼攀登队长，成为世界首位成功登上世界最高峰珠穆朗玛峰的女性。本片以这位代表日本的伟大女性登山家的真实故事为基础，讲述了她从首次登上珠穆朗玛峰的女性开始，到晚年与病魔作斗争，在被宣布生命将至的同时，直到去世前仍在登山的英勇一生。
